Austin Airport
There are two terminals at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA): the Barbara Jordan Terminal and the South Terminal. The vast majority of flights come into the Barbara Jordan Terminal (the main terminal), including all international flights and most domestic flights. The South Terminal only services domestic flights for Frontier Airlines and Allegiant Airlines. If you happen to fly into the South terminal, you can catch a taxi or rideshare service (e.g., Uber, Lyft) from ground transportation outside the South Terminal, or alternatively, you can take the shuttle bus to the Barbara Jordan Terminal and rent a car or use the CapMetro bus service to downtown Austin. Information on the South Terminal is located here: https://austinsouthterminal.com/.
Both terminals are easy to navigate! The Barbara Jordan Terminal maintains 34 gates, all of which are arranged in a large semicircle or curve. If you are flying internationally, you will follow the signs to customs, and once processed, you will exit customs to the escalators or elevators to baggage claim and ground transportation. If you are flying domestically, you will make your way directly to the escalators or elevators that take you to baggage claim and ground transportation. All gates at the Barbara Jordan Terminal de-plane on the second floor of the terminal. Baggage claim is on first floor of the terminal in an open space that leads directly to ground transportation.
