In general: most restaurants are on King St \u2013 our hotel is on Meeting St, one block east of King. If you exit the hotel and then go across the park or down Hutson St you will end up on King. When I note down King, I mean turning left down King if you are standing on King with your back to the hotel \u2013 turning right is going up King.<\/p>\n
Coffee Shops:<\/p>\n
Kudu \u2013 on Vanderhorst St, two blocks from hotel, has excellent coffee and beer in the afternoons. No wi-fi!<\/p>\n
La Patisserie \u2013 part of Hotel Bennett, which is behind our hotel fronting onto King. Tasty sweet treats and coffees.<\/p>\n
Starbucks can be found throughout the city, the closest is at the corner of King and Calhoun<\/p>\n
Second State Coffee \u2013 Beaufain and Kirkland, about 10 blocks from the hotel \u2013 for serious coffee people<\/p>\n

Lunch: fast and easy to take out and eat on Marion square. For most of these you could also order ahead of time and go and pick up. These are all reasonably priced.<\/p>\n
